DLP’s New Best Friend

The lovely ladies of eight chosen Sororities will compete in exciting challenges, which will ultimately determine who our new best friends will be. Lets face it ladies, everyone needs a gay best friend. We’re loyal, fun to be around and love to gossip just as much as you do. Dancing is our passion, hygiene is essential, and we’re also very helpful when you need an instant boyfriend to fend off unwanted attention. Best of all, we completely understand your man issues – it’s our specialty.

Let the hair pulling and flash dancing begin February 19th, 2011.

DLP’s New Best Friend is our annual Winter Quarter event. We invite the best groups at Cal Poly to compete for the distinction of being named our New Best Friend for a year. The winning group also receives a classy social event with yours truly, the Men of Delta Lambda Phi, Beta Pi Chapter. And of course, they receive free entry to the following year’s event to defend their title. The competition challenges each group to be the witty, fierce, and to get down with the best to win.

Our 2010 event was a huge success and we raised $300 for the AIDS Support Network, and the night ended with Alpha Omicron Pi as DLP’s New Best Friend! We thank each and everyone that competed that night on behalf of their sororities and we hope you are all excited to return next year and challenge AOPi for the title of DLP’s New Best Friend!
